In an effort to help students and their parents with the application process and financial aid, Niles North will be hosting a college night open for all seniors from both North and West on Wednesday Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m.

This senior only college night is to help seniors to answer their questions and update students and their families on all college related details.

“I encourage seniors and their families to attend college night,” Daniel Gin director of Niles West’s college and career center said. “This presentation helps students become informed consumers and eases the college process.”

Another topic that will be discussed is scholarships. The whole point is to dedicate an hour or so to answer questions seniors and their parents may have.

“It is really important that students get accurate information when they are first starting their applications,” Gin said. “And what better place to get that information than straight from the college and career directors of Niles North and Niles West.”

Gin also says that families in the past have appreciated the help.

“I’ve had students and parents come up to me after college night and tell me that all the information that was talked about and answered questions were really helpful in their process to college.”Gin said “This is why I strongly encourage seniors to attend.”
