Anyone who owned a radio or television set in the decade of 2000-2010 has heard of hit bands like the Jonas Brothers and Selena Gomez and the Scene. Whether they erupted from Disney Channel or were the latest band on Nickelodeon, their legacies are still present today.

Here are the biggest throwback hit bands that you should definitely check out again.

Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush came from Nickelodeon as the newest boy band at their time. The band consisted of four young guys that shared a common love for music. They enjoyed touring the country, writing albums, and meeting all their fans, especially teenage girls that caught the disease of the “boy band crush.” Although Big Time Rush has finished their time together, you can check out their two hit albums that were published. Two songs that were top of the charts were “Windows Down” and “Big Night.”

One Direction

One Direction was the biggest boy band in America. Consisting of five talented guys, they put their talents together at the start of the big time show X Factor. With the help of Simon Cowell, the boys were forced together and probably created a legacy that would never have happened. Touring the country and creating seven hit albums, the boys continue to pursue their love of music. With the latest departure of group member Zayn Malik, the devastating news temporarily stopped their production of music, but 1D is back on track in the music world. With how talented these young men are, two albums that you should take a look at are “Midnight Memories” and “Up All Night.”

Jonas Brothers

Anyone who has watched or heard of Camp Rock knows the legacy of the Jonas Brothers. The three brothers, Kevin, Joe, and Nick, along add-on younger brother, Frankie, have swept all teenage girls and the music industry off their feet. From starting their band in their teenage years, to being hit stars in Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, their attention continues to prosper. Not only were their successes in both Camp Rocks untouchable, their has been rumors of a possibility Camp Rock 3 coming out. Having double digits albums made, two that are fantastic to hear are “A Little Bit Longer” and “Be Mine.”

Selena Gomez and the Scene

Disney Channel is where this young musician Selena Gomez came from. Being the start actress in TV Shows “Wizards of Waverly Place,” Gomez shows the daily struggles of a teenager while beginning to introduce her musical ability. Initially starting in the music industry, she created a band named “Selena Gomez and the Scene.” As the years went on their production starting falling, she broke off to be a solo artist. Ever since er decisions to be an individual performer, her success has sky-rocketed. Touring, to being media models, to stars in movies, she has done it all. With her voice and versatility, she takes the world of entertainment by storm. Two albums that are to die for are “Round & Round” and “Same Old Love.”
