Jackie Chis (West alum '16) gets ready to cast her vote at the Lincolnwood Public Library. She showed up to vote because she believes that the result of this election may have an adverse impact on women across the country. "I think that this election has the potential to be a very historically significant one—we might even have our first female black president. When I'm voting, I'm voting for women like me and women not like me so they can advocate for themselves," Chis said.
