This year final exams will be held Dec. 20 through 22. Each day will have 3 exam periods, each one lasting for 80 minutes with a 10-minute passing period in between. The first exam starts at 8:10 a.m., and the last exam ends at 12:30 p.m. However, if you need to make up an exam, there is an additional exam slot that you can take in room 1161, the Lit Center, starting at 12:40 am. While makeup exams will be held at the Lit Center, it won’t be available for tutoring as it usually is. Student attendance is mandatory for all classes and study hall except during lunch periods. Study hall locations, regardless of where you were located throughout the year, are in the South Lobby, Cafeteria or IRC (library). You can also arrange teacher meetings during lunch or study hall periods.
Free breakfast will also be provided for students starting at 7:30 a.m. for all exam days and some food items will be available for purchase up until 12:30 p.m.
The textbook center will be open during finals from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the only textbooks that need to be returned are ones for Civics, WWII, Global Problems, Sociology, Debate, Psychology (regular), Law, Zoology, Forensics or Driver’s Education.
Buses will pick up students following their regular morning schedule and depart at 12:45 p.m. and again at 2:15 p.m. However, there will be no activity buses this year.
