During second period on Wednesday, May 1, a Unity Assembly will be held for all students, staff and administration in the auditorium. The Unity Assembly has replaced what would’ve been Niles West’s very first-ever Unity Summit. However, the assembly itself will touch upon themes such as diversity, strength, inclusion and more.
The assembly itself will be performed as a Double AM Assembly, only during the second period rather than during the first period. As tomorrow is a late start, all periods except period two will be shortened to 24 minutes, while second period and the assembly will last for a little over 50 minutes.
If your second period class is listed in the following, then you will be attending the 2A Assembly:
- ECSB
- Fine & Applied Arts
- ELL
- Math
- Social Studies
- Lit Center
If your second period class is included in the following, then you will first attend your second period class and then be called down to the auditorium to attend the 2B Assembly:
- English
- World Language
- Physical Welfare
- Science
- Study Halls
