The semi-annual “You Make a Difference” breakfast was held this morning in honor of those teachers who impact student’s lives every day.
This year 23 teachers were nominated for their dedication and differences they’ve made in student’s lives.
“It’s every teacher’s hope to inspire students in small but meaningful ways. Taking a moment to acknowledge both students and teachers in this type of event is a gift,” said English teacher Sally Graham.
Students also view this as a chance to show their appreciation and gratitude for their teachers.
“I think its great that students get the opportunity to recognize the work and dedication that their teachers give them,” said junior Dori Protofanousis.
A brief ceremony will take place to acknowledge the following staff members: Kimberly Bernardi, Margaret Bower, Felix Caceres, Dana Des Jardins, Ellen Foley, Ryan Geu, Colleen Gogerty, Sally Graham, Michelle Hettinger, Tamara Jaffe-Notier, Andrew Johnson, Andrew Klamm, Neil Koreman, Daniel Kosiba, Evelyn Lauer, Yvonne Miller, Lezlie Natzke, Eric Oddo, John Przekota, Sara Shuster, John Vana, Brad Wilson, Judy Yoo.
