We, the Niles West News editorial board, in order to expand our opinion (West Word) section, establish that the first NWN editorial will be published this week.

Editorials express the opinion of the editorial board (team of editors), rather than just one writer. They are not by-lined. Opinions expressed within editorials are voted on during editors’ meetings.

Our first editorial , which is scheduled to run later this week, will be on the potential school calendar change.
