Art teacher John Zilewicz and his AP art students will be hosting an AP Art Show on Friday, Mar. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the student commons.
This is the third year that AP art students have been presenting their work to the student body. The art show used to be held in the art gallery but it has been moved to the students commons to make it more “mainstream” for students.
“The AP Art Show is a show that includes all the AP art students and their body of work throughout the year. The art show is a good thing for the students because the students get to interact with each other and their work,” Zilewicz said.
Each student has a minimum of 12-18 pieces of art work in the show.
“I like what the art show does. It’s great to see my colleagues’ artwork showcased for everyone to see; they deserve to be seen. I’m glad AP students get their own exclusive show, too. It will have the best of the best on display,” senior Jason Lupas
