Niles West’s Thespians are scheduled to perform their next play, “Title of Show” from Wednesday Oct. 30 to Saturday Nov. 2 at 4:00 and 7:30 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre.
“Title of Show” consists of only four cast members, each of them a member of troupe 1714 in the International Thespian Society. Senior Surdeep Chauhan will play Hunter, who with his friend Jeff (senior Cameron Broderick), will go on a journey to create a musical with the help of their friends, Susan and Heidi, played by juniors Sharon Pasia and Nicole Miller, respectively. This is a play about creating a play, set in New York, with poignant music to add to the drama and showcase the struggle of creating this artistic work.
“People should come see this because it’s very different. You get to see the problems of figuring out music and the conflicts that occur while creating a play,” junior Julia Nejman said.
Junior Scott Albaum said it’s full of twists and turns that the audience will not see coming.
“It’s very unpredictable. You don’t know what’s coming next,”Albaum said.
Tickets are seven dollars for students, senior citizens, and children, and ten dollars for adults.
