Senior Send-Off is next Friday, May 23. Be there at 6 p.m. on the freshman baseball field by the football stadium to mingle with fellow seniors and say a final goodbye to your graduating peers. Be sure to bring yearbooks to sign, blankets to sit on, and a frisbee or a football to toss around.
You must fill out the form emailed to you by Ms. Pritzker to participate in the event. Seniors must RSVP by Wednesday, May 21.
For seniors, food is free for the first round, but for everyone else and those who are craving seconds, it’s $5 for the burger meal and $3 for a hot dog meal.
There will be many other things to do at the senior send-off besides eat food and sign yearbooks. There will be a bouncy house, sumo jousting, and a bungee run. A bungee run involves two people attached to their own bungee cords that hold a bean bag. They each run as fast as they can to get the bean bag the farthest distance.
Last year, senior send off was very popular, with nearly 550 seniors showing up to the event. This year is sure to be just as entertaining, and seniors agree. “I think it’s awesome. There’s going to be a really fun bouncy house and I get to see the rest of the seniors,” senior Amanda Muir said.
Senior Kaitleen Joson is also looking forward to being with her fellow seniors.
“I think its a good idea. Its a good way to bring all the seniors together.”
Director of Student Activities Jessica Pritzker encourages student attendance.
“This is your last chance to mingle and appreciate the fact that you’re done.”
So fill out the form online and come join the fun at Senior Send-Off next Friday!
