English instructor Patti-Anne Ford will be Niles West’s new Fine Arts director starting the upcoming 2014-2015 school year.
She feels very honored to have been given the opportunity.
“I’m honored. I feel very humbled. I’m a young person to have been given this job. It’s a huge challenge. I’m an underdog, and I have a lot to prove, but I think I can prove it,” Ford said.
Several other teachers are excited about having a new director.
“Not having a director was hard on all of our programs and it was hard to move forward. She knows all about our programs and policies so she can help move all of our programs to the next level,” fine arts instructor Amy Branahl said.
