Amy Branahl will be constructing her 140 choir students at the fall choir concert tonight at 7:30 in the Niles West auditorium.
The choir students will perform a variety of different songs from today as well as songs from different countries, Branahl said.
“Expect to be blown away! Each group will be singing two songs. Plus a teacher from Lincoln Hall is retiring, so were going to celebrate him. And in the end we’ll have a big group finale with everyone,” Branahl said.
Freshman Amanda Isaac said she is looking forward to tonight’s performance.
“I’m really nervous but excited to be on the stage and have my family watch me,” she said.
Choir is not only a place to sing your heart out, but a place to come together and bond, freshman Sarah Cohen said.
“We all connect and I made so many new friends and I’ve connected with the teacher as well,” Cohen said. “We’re like one big family!”
Tonight’s concert is free.
