The Niles West Girls Varsity Cheerleading team placed third at the CSL Conference at Maine East High school over the past three day weekend.
“Winning third this year feels great– I think we definitely deserved it. We are constantly practicing to improve ourselves inside and outside of practice. Our team is like a big family and I think that’s what makes us do so go good, knowing that we have each other to push one another to go further,” senior Jordyn Glotzer said
The Wolves also placed second at the invitational meet hosted by Niles West High school last Sunday.
“This has probably been one of our best cheer season and to see how much we’ve all grown throughout the years. This has also been our most competitive seasons as well. We’ve bonded and worked as a team to help to get where are. Getting second pushes us to do at sectionals and also shows the potential our team has,” senior Shirley Nguyen said
The cheerleaders’ next competition will take place at Huntley High school this coming weekend.
