The You Make A Difference Breakfast was held this morning at 7:30 am in the Student Commons. This breakfast honored teachers that were nominated by students who feel that they have made a difference in their school and life experience.
Admin assistant and the person in charge of this event, Judy Wheatman, believes this is a very important event.
“It is meaningful and valuable to a faculty/staff member that their efforts are being acknowledged,” she said.
The teachers that were nominated are:
Scott Baum, Jean Attig, Yvonne Miller, Ryan Geu, Sharon Swanson, JulieAnn Villa, Ami Lefevre, Matt Weatherington, Eric Lueder, Rick Kolze, D.J. Kosiba, Justin Johnson, Ruth Gleicher, Michele Hettinger, Martha Lietz, Gevik Anbarchian, Jayson Foster, Larry Fogel, Meghan McGovern, Maragret Bower, Tayyaba Ahmad, Daniel Quinlan, Andy Sinclair, Brett Clish, David Malatesta, Timothy Miller, Michael Leeks, Michael Boll, Amy Kaye, Mr. Stan McConner, Jessica Madigan, Colleen Gogerty, and Dena Lichterman.
Many teachers feel honored and are excited to have attended this event.
“The student who nominated me is both in my homeroom and in my anatomy class, so it is really flattering since she spends so much time with me. It’s always nice to be recognized and as teachers we hope to make a difference and it’s nice to know that’s true for at least one student,” said Anatomy and Biology teacher Meghan McGovern.

You could have talked to one or more of the teachers, or one or more of the nominating students.
You also could have provided some additional detail. or taken a photo. What did they serve for breakfast?
This is like regurgitating a press release.
