Dance Marathon’s annual dance event will be held this Saturday, May 16th. The event will take place at Niles North, starting at 4:30pm and ending at midnight.
The event will have spirit hours, starting the evening with beach-wear, followed by mismatch, and superhero. The final hours of the event will be neon power hour wear.
“I’m really excited and it’s gonna be great. I can’t wait for them to reveal how much money they’ve raised this year,” student activities director, Katie Odell said.
This year, Dance Marathon will be donating all the money raised to support the Daniel M. Horyn Foundation, a charity dedicated to helping families of cancer patients.
“There’s a charity committee that picks out the charity every year. The executives have already picked out the charity for next year and it’ll be announced at the event,” Odell said.
The entrance fee is $7, including food and drinks throughout the night.
