The 35th annual District College Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Niles West from 7-9 p.m. There will be schools stretching from the military academies, the armed forces, to specialized schools (automotive, cosmetology, culinary, art, etc).
“There will be 250 colleges and universities attending from Florida, all the way to Hawaii, and everything in between,” says college and career counselor Daniel Gin.
It will be a great occasion for students to check out colleges and get all the information they need to start researching their dream school, he said.
“Students should attend, because it’s a great opportunity to begin and continue their post-high school plans. There will be a lot of information in a short period of time,” says Gin.
All students, staff, and their families are welcome to attend.
