Yearbooks will be distributed tomorrow at the beginning of 8th period in the Student Commons. If you have an early release, you can pick it up during 9th, but not earlier.
“This year’s theme revolves around social media and trends, so we experimented with this app called Aurasma. You download it and follow our account, and what you do is hover over a picture in the yearbook that has a bolded border and a video will play from that event. So for example, on the International Night page, I can use the app and hover over the bolded picture, and I can watch France perform their dance from that night. It’s like having a hidden message behind certain pictures which I think is awesome,” senior yearbook editor Dominique Krason said.
If there are any extra yearbooks, they will go on sale at 7:30 am on Monday, May 16 at the ticket window in the Student Commons. They will be $75, cash only. Don’t forget to bring your school I.D. If you’re unsure if you bought a yearbook, check the list outside the cafeteria.
