Underclassman yearbook pictures and picture retakes will be held this Thursday, Sept. 29 and Friday, Sept. 30 in room 1161 all day.
It is important to get your picture retaken so that people will be able to see you in the best light, especially if your previous picture was less than stellar. You want people to remember you, and you want to remember your high school years.
“When you’re a nominee for Supreme Court or on trial for some heinous crime, you’re going to want us to send in the best possible yearbook picture,” according to yearbook advisor Sharon Swanson.
You don’t need to overthink it and skip out on the opportunity, just to end up regretting it later, as junior and yearbook editor Lamijia Memidzan explains.
“High school is a time that you want to remember, which is why everyone should get their picture for the yearbook taken,” she said. “You don’t want to look back at the yearbook and see you’re not in it; that’s just disappointing. It takes 10 minutes to take a picture that you can have for your entire life.”
