The annual curriculum night for incoming freshmen will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 24 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the field house.
Students who are assisting during the event will be encouraging incoming freshmen to attend to introduce them to the activities available at Niles West.
“I’m attending in order to support the Chinese program at West,” junior Casey Pashup. “I would recommend kids to come and see what the night has to offer. It’ll help them to find out the variety of activities the school offers.”
Students who attended the event before freshman year found it to be a positive experience that they would recommend for others.
“It was actually fun because you got to see everything that was there and all West has to offer,” junior Kayla Figueroa said. “I would recommend students come because it shows them everything that is offered and allows them to get a chance at seeing the activities available.”
Along with the event being a positive experience, students have even become members of all the clubs that they have seen there.
“I remember going before starting freshman year,” junior Mariam Shaik said. “I saw a lot of the clubs there and was actually interested in them, so I ended up joining a lot of them.”
