Yearbook picture retakes will be held in the Literacy Center on Thurs. and Fri. of Sept. 28, 29, and Tues. Oct 17.

Sharon Swanson, the sponsor of Spectrum, the yearbook club, always emphasizes the importance of taking these pictures.

“Years down the road they’ll have some memories to look at, and their friends do and their families do,” Swanson said.

Retakes have been around since the first yearbooks were coming out for Niles West, as there are hundreds of kids who either weren’t here the first few days, didn’t look good or just forgot that yearbook photos were being taken.

“I want to make sure I show my school pride by being in the yearbook, alongside my fellow classmates. I want to create as many memories as I can.” junior Tina Siegler said.

The retakes are from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Thurs. Sept. 28, noon to 4:00 p.m. on Fri. the 29, and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tues. Oct. 17.
