The 69th annual Emmys, hosted by Stephan Colbert, aired on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 5 p.m. on CBS. Television shows Westworld and Saturday Night Live both had a whopping 22 nominations, while Stranger Things came in a close second with 19. 

Fan favorite Game of Thrones was ineligible for nominations this year. To be eligible for an Emmy, the show must air episodes between June 1, 2016, and May 31, 2017, which was not the case for the series.
