An 11-year-old male walking home from Fairview South Elementary School was approached by an unknown stranger while walking home. The incident took place near the intersection of Laramie Avenue and Fairview Lane. The child was approached as they were walking home by a man driving a car. The man yelled out of the window, “If you want to call your mom, get inside the car.” The child ignored the male and rushed home to notify his parents.

The vehicle description is an older model 4-door sedan, dark colored. The suspect description is a 40-year-old male of Middle Eastern descent, with a heavy accent, light brown complexion, and black and grey hair with a beard.

The incident is under investigation. The public is asked to remain alert and focused on any suspicious persons or vehicles, especially matching the description above.
