Now that fall is approaching, it’s time for all the fall makeup trends to begin once again. From apple picking, to haunted houses, everyone wants the ideal fall makeup look that they can wear out while doing their activities.

With the weather getting colder, bright and dewy makeup is slowly fading away, and warm and matte makeup is making a comeback.

In the summer and spring months, light and shimmery eye makeup is very popular when achieving the “dewy” summer look. Normally, people would start with a light lid shade with shimmer or a sheen, and a little depth in the crease (for a natural look). Bright colors, such as blue and purple, are also very popular in the summer. Now that fall is coming in, the warm colors and matte eyes are much more popular. Dark colors, like navy, black, dark brown, and dark purple, are very popular to achieve a smokey and matte look. For the face, highlighter and glowy skin is very in during the summer months. Bright blush, blinding highlighter, and shimmer bronzer. Now that it’s fall, matte skin is much more doable. The foundation goes on smooth and has a long lasting finish that isn’t dewy, which is perfect for fall makeup. To top it off, add on some Hoola bronzer to make the face look more of a warmer tone.

For the lips, matte is the way to go as well. Put your lipgloss away, and take out your dark liquid lipsticks. Putting on any liquid lip will completely finish and change your entire fall look.
