February has arrived, which means it’s time for Valentine’s Day. Single or taken, there is always the Niles West News’ Cutest Couples contest to look forward to.

For senior and juniors, submit your couple pictures for a chance to win 2 prom tickets. Sophomores and freshmen enter to win a dinner at your restaurant of choice for you and your significant other (up to $50).

To enter, use the hashtag #nwncouple18 on your picture with your boyfriend, girlfriend, or best friend. You can enter via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or email us at [email protected] if you happen to be private on social media.

The deadline to enter is Friday, Feb. 9 at 8:00 a.m. Voting will take place on Facebook until Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 8 a.m. All photos submitted must be posted to an album on the Niles West News’ Facebook page called “Cutest Couples 2018.” The five pictures with the most likes on Facebook will be announced as finalists on Wednesday, Feb. 14. Voting for the finalists will take place via the poll on the NWN website through Thursday, Feb. 15 at 8 a.m. The winning couple will be announced and notified on Friday, Feb. 16.

Rules for the contest are simple:

1. Anyone can vote for your picture on Facebook.

2. All entries must be submitted by Feb. 9 at 8:00 a.m.

3. The members of the couple must both be current students at Niles West.

4. First round voting will end at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13.

5. Finalist round voting will end at 8:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16.
