This Friday, August 31st, is the last day for seniors to turn in an application for the National Honor Society. This organization honors students who have displayed academic and disciplinary excellence during their time in high school.

Those who are accepted into this exclusive group are offered a variety of benefits: college admission options, financial aid opportunities and service project opportunities where students can learn how to work hard alongside their peers.

There are certain requirements to be accepted into the National Honor Society. A student must meet the following requirements to be considered: a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, volunteer experience, leadership experience and a demonstration of good character.

If you or a friend think you may fit this picture, turn in your application for the National Honor Society by Fri., August 31 in the College and Career Resource Center. Contact Daniel Gin for more information.
