Justin Bieber’s Justice Tour 2022
May 13, 2022
As Justin Bieber makes his appearance on stage at the United Center, the fans in the crowd scream with excitement to see Bieber himself perform.
The “Justice” album came out on March 19, 2021, and truly is a fan favorite. I’m sure all of the fans who attended, including myself, can agree that the concert was one of the most spectacular nights of their lives.
The night began as the artists Téo, Jaden Smith and Eddie Benjamin opened for Bieber. Accompanying Bieber was Chicago’s very own Chance The Rapper on May 10th, as well as Quavo.
The songs performed at the May 10th concert were “Somebody,” “Hold On,” “Deserve You,” “Holy,” “Where Are Ü Now,” “What Do You Mean?,” “Yummy,” “Changes,” “Love Yourself,” “Off My Face,” “Confident,” “All That Matters,” “Don’t Go,” “Sorry,” “Love You Different,” “As I Am,” “Ghost,” “Lonely,” “2 Much,” “Intentions,” “Honest,” “Boyfriend,” “Baby,” “Peaches” and “Anyone.”
The stage was first set up with a large airplane figure, and Bieber rises on top of the plane creating a beautiful sight. The first song performed on the airplane was his song “Somebody” from the album. I really enjoyed the lights for this performance.
Next, Bieber performed “Hold On,” another popular song on the album which got the crowd hyped for the rest of the concert.
After, Bieber gave an incredible performance of “Deserve You” and “Holy.” The stage set up for “Holy” was absolutely beautiful. This is because there were multiple crosses on the stage that made the performance powerful. The purple lights were amazing. This song’s performance was definitely one of my favorites.
Bieber then performed more hit songs such as “Where Are Ü Now,” “What Do You Mean?” and “Yummy.” The visuals and lights for these performances were also fantastic. I liked it when the screen lit up with sweets for the “Yummy” performance.
After “Changes” and “Love Yourself,” Bieber performed “Off My Face” from the “Justice” album. This song really gets you in your feels and truly touched the crowd.
Bieber performed a classic, “Confident,” and this really brought the crowd’s energy up even more. I can say that this song really made me energetic and had me jumping on my feet. The portrayal of the lyrics on the screen was phenomenal.
Aside from Bieber, the dancers on stage were extremely talented. They really performed with all of the energy they had, and you can feel the energy even from the balcony.
One of my absolute favorite songs from the album is “As I Am.” I can say that I was very happy with the performance, and I was really screaming and jumping for this one. I’ve probably listened to the song at least a thousand times before attending the concert. The blue theme was gorgeous, and I loved the visuals of the two faces as well as the cross.
Next, Bieber performed “Ghost.” Right before this song, a video was projected on the screen that was really inspiring and had the audience feel the powerlessness of the night. This song can really bring you to tears, and it definitely did it for me. I believe that this performance was one of the best of the entire night — it gave me goosebumps. Afterward, Bieber sang “Lonely.” He stood on a platform and captured the sadness in the crowd, and many turned on their cell phone flashlights.
Moving on, Bieber performed his iconic songs from 2010 and 2012, “Boyfriend” and “Baby.” The crowd went wild, singing at the top of their lungs. These songs sparked a major throwback and really brought even more hype to the room. I can definitely say that these songs had my friends and I the most excited.
One performance worth noting was “Peaches.” First, Bieber performed an acoustic version of the song on the piano, then sang the original version. I liked how Bieber showcased different versions of the song, and both performances of this song were incredible.
Last, but certainly not least, Bieber performed “Anyone.” This song’s performance had brought me into tears by the end of it. Portrayed on the screen were pictures of Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber as he sang his heart out to her. The performance could not have been any more perfect — it was unreal.
Overall, the concert was absolutely unreal. I truly enjoyed it, and I’m confident that I’ll want to attend another Bieber concert in the future.
