According to an email sent out by Dean Tim Dykes Feb. 12, periodic hallway sweeps will be put into place starting Feb. 13. The “sweeps” refer to times where hallways will be checked, and if a student is found in the halls without a pass during a sweep they will be issued a detention.

If you have already been issued a detention, teachers cannot issue further consequences, but are allowed to proceed with their normal policies in any other circumstance.

These hallway sweeps are similar to the ones implemented in Dec. of 2021.

Make sure to attend class on time and have a teacher write you a pass when you need one!
