District 219 school board members (from left) Amber Wood, Nour Akhras, Ken Durr, Lindley Wisnewski, David Ko, Kandice Cooley-Jones and Celia Stennett. Akhras, Wisnewski and Cooley-Jones were sworn in at the May 6 meeting. Ko was not present for the second half of the meeting after the swearing in. "I think our season so far has been tough due to the various injuries but we have been able to adapt and give 100% effort at games and practices...
