In order to appreciate student’s compliance to wearing their lanyards during school, the Niles West administration will be giving away treats during the lunch periods throughout the week.
Treats will only be given to students who will be wearing their ID at the time they come to claim their treats. The treats will be given out in the snack shop window in the South End of the Cafeteria.
“I guess I think that the people that wear their IDs regularly will continue to do so for the reward, but the students that haven’t been following the ID rule won’t start doing it for a reward” said senior Estee Cramer.
Senior Anisha Mannancheril, however, feels that this will increase the number of studetns who wear their IDs.
“It’ll definitely help increase the number of students who wear IDs because as of now a lot of kids don’t wear them,” Mannancheril said.
