Due to the weather inclement, Niles West, along with Niles North and Niles Central High School will be closed tomorrow.
According to the Yahoo Weather Forecast for Skokie, tomorrow will have the high of -13 degrees and the low of – 17 degrees.
Students are happy to have the extra day off.
“Oh look, more time to get sleep,” senior Esteban Gavilanez said.
“I think we’re in the luckiest year in a decade,” senior Samantha Lariosa said. “I’m so happy school is cancelled.”
District 219 has left a message on home answering machines and an email has been sent to all students for confirmation.
