An online petition has been set up in order to help the Varughese family gain further knowledge about Pravin’s death.

According to the website, the Varughese family is still very concerned with the death of their beloved family member. His death is still surrounded by mystery. With the help of this petition, they hope to find out how exactly Pravin died, as well as prevent similar future tragedies.

“When his body was found, Carbondale police said there was no foul play. The family didn’t believe it. Recently, they found this was all untrue. Basically, this petition will discuss the case. Even if you didn’t know him, the family deserves to know what happened to him. It literally takes five seconds [to sign the petition],” senior Anisha Mannancheril said.

Senior Sana Khan believes that there must be something suspicious if Varughese wasn’t intoxicated.

“It’s not fair to let someone die without knowing how. There must be something suspicious if he wasn’t intoxicated. You would want closure if this was your family,” Khan said.

Currently there are 12,212 signatures, and the family’s goal is 25,000.
