[singlepic id=2000 w=320 h=240 float=left]The Girls Track and Field team finished third at the Class 3A Loyola Academy Sectional in Wilmette (with 77 points), and in doing so, qualified four girls for the State track meet.
The four girls who qualified for state are: seniors Kellion Gordon (100 m, 200 m) and Vicki Barela (triple jump); and sophomores Sydney Hellwig (100 hurdles) and Jasmine Townsend (shot put).
The girls began competing yesterday and will continue to compete today and tomorrow at the state meet at O’Brien Stadium, in Charleston.
