On Thursday, Nov. 1, a volunteer fair will be held during all lunch periods. Various organizations will be a West to inform students regarding volunteer opportunities and to hand out programs or flyers.

A representative from Response Center will also be at the volunteer fair to speak about Operation Snowball, which is a weekend leadership retreat for high school students. This retreat will be Feb. 22-24, 2019 at Camp Chi in the Wisconsin Dells. That weekend will include nature walks, a youth talent show, music, photography, environmental education, body image, expressive art and LGBTQ awareness among other activities. The retreat is entirely planned by teens for teens all over the Chicagoland area.
