After a student reported seeing a bed bug in the library on Tues., Feb. 11, a bed bug–sniffing dog of Bed Bug Detection Service was called to the school.

Early this morning, the dog determined that there were no bedbugs in the library, and the common study area is now reopened to students and classes.

“For precautionary measures, we closed the library in the afternoon,” assistant principal of operations Steve Parnther wrote in an email Wednesday morning. “We had Bed Bug Detection Service inspect our library and faculty lounge this morning and no bed bugs were detected.”
