Niles West Football Allows Fans Back For Home Opener

By Daniel Navarro, Sports Editor

On March 23, athletic director Dr. Dana Krilich sent out an email informing Niles West students that 50 fans will be allowed to spectate the football game tomorrow in-person against New Trier. This is the first time fans are allowed back since the beginning of the pandemic.

On March 25, a google form was sent out where students will be given a chance to secure a ticket. The tickets are being granted on a first-come, first, serve basis with priority to seniors. After seniors, if tickets are available, the form will be offered to juniors, sophomores, and then freshmen.

Securing a ticket means complying with multiple guidelines that spectators are expected to follow. Including masks being worn at all times and finding a correct seat. Stadium bleachers are marked with blue X’s, and you must find an X to sit on in the Student Section. Fans are required to sit and remain socially distanced throughout the entire game. Fans can start checking in no earlier than 20 minutes before the game’s start time.

Don’t miss this opportunity to support Niles West Football tomorrow under the lights tomorrow night at 7:00 pm.
