Niles West students will now be able to bring non-West guests to prom. In an email sent by the Director of Activities Katie Odell, a decision was made to allow non-west guests to join their friends at prom.

Those who want to bring a non-west guest will be required to fill out a form through their prom registration, which will be sent out the week of April 4th. Your guest, guest’s dean and guest’s guardian will need to fill out the necessary information found on the form.

Additionally stated in the email, “If you are a Junior and would like to purchase a ticket to attend, you may do so. If you would like to bring a student from Niles West who is not a Junior or Senior, you may as long as you register them as your guest.”

Ticket sales will solely be open to seniors for the first two days, April 4th and 5th. However, for juniors, sales will open on April 6th. Registration and ticket sales will close when the capacity limit is reached. If the limit is not hit, registration and sales will conclude at midnight on April 7th. No sales will be accepted after.

Prom will take place on May 7th at Joe’s Live in Rosemont.
