With Halloween less than two weeks away, there is pressure to find an unforgettable costume. This year I’m sure we will see a lot of Jeffery Dahmers or Neds from the Try Guys, but the question is what is the best costume?

I would say my least favorite costume is all the inflatable dinosaurs, cows, or other animals. Sure they are big and funny, but it is not worth the struggle that comes with it. First, it is so hot and stuffy inside, and you can bearly walk correctly without stumbling every once in a while. On top of that, there is no fun to it, Halloween means you spend effort and time planning your outfit to make sure it’s the best, but an inflatable is too simple and not authentic enough.

Another costume I would not want to see this year is definitely the devil and angel. In my opinion, it is something you see every year, I think it is time we put it to rest. Also, any costume solely dependent on a mask is dull, many times the mask will end up hurting your head midway through the day which leads you to take it off.

A duo costume I want to see this year is definitely Cassie and Maddie from Euphoria, it would be an iconic outfit for an iconic duo. Another duo costume that would look cool would be Chucky and Tiffany from the Chucky movies. It’s Halloween so it should be scary and Chucky is a horror classic.

If people plan to dress up as a group there are plenty of options. The most common one is M&M’s, I think it is super plain but it is an easy way for a large group to settle on a costume. My favorite group looks have to be Men in Black, it’s unforgettable and iconic, and it is a super recognizable outfit even though you are just wearing suits.

If you are going to be an independent trick-or-treater this year though there are many other choices for you. A ghost is one of my favorites, yes it is ordinary and has been around for however long Holloween became a holiday, but it is such an easy costume. Just throw a white bedsheet over your head with eye cut-outs and you’re done. Additionally, it wouldn’t be Halloween if there were no villains roaming around, the Joker, Darth Vader, Ursula, and many more would be great choices in my opinion.

My personal favorite Halloween costume of all time has got to be Kim Possible. It is an easy look of just baggy green pants and any black crop top. In my opinion, everyone pulls it off and Kim Possible is an icon. My second pick definitely has to be any of the characters from Willy Wonka. There are many to choose from, Violet the blueberry girl, Mr.Wonka, or even an Oompa Loompa.

This year I want to see costumes that are original and funny, but most of all something fun for everyone to see.
