Final exams this year will be held Dec. 17 through 19. Each day will have three class periods with each one lasting 80 minutes with a 10-minute passing period. Student attendance is mandatory for all classes including study hall; however lunch is not required. The first exam starts at 8:10 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m.
Students who need to take a make-up exam may do so in room 1161, the Lit Center, starting at 12:40 p.m.. Due to the make-up exams, the Lit Center will not be available for tutoring as it normally is. All students with IEPs who have an extended time accommodation and do not complete an exam can finish their tests in room 1120 and students with 504s who do not complete an exam can finish their test in the Lit Center.
Buses will follow their regular morning schedule to pick up students except there will be no early-bird bus routes. The afternoon bus will depart two times: 12:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., and the late bus schedule is 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m..
Free breakfast will be available for all students starting at 7:30 a.m., and the cafeteria will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m..
The library hours are 7:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and students may return books. Regarding textbook returns, the textbook center will be open during the school day for all one semester textbooks, novels with bar codes, Chromebooks and chargers. All items must be returned by Dec. 19 to avoid fines.
