Within a couple of weeks, we’ll be out of here in no time. However, that means late nights cramming in studying for finals, and going to end of the school year events. Here are some tips to keep you sane during the chaotic last couple of weeks of school.
1. Take a day off for catching up. I know there might be comments telling me how useless this tip is, but it gets super busy at the end of the year. No matter what grade you’re in, there are many events to look forward to (field trips to the forest preserve, Six Flags, national competitions and conferences, Dance Marathon, etc.) If you absolutely believe you cannot take a day off, set yourself a day over the weekend to get what you have to get done, whether it’s homework or projects.
2. Use an agenda. With the many events spread through the last couple of weeks of school whether it’s Relay for Life, an ACT test, or graduation. Things get a little hectic, and it never hurts to write things down on an agenda to keep you organized with the chaotic number of events to plan and/or attend.
3. Relax. School is almost out, and it’s almost summer time! It doesn’t hurt to take off one day from the busy weeks to come. Just hanging out with friends or having a spa days won’t hurt anyone. Whatever you do, keep your mind off studying, homework, and classes.
These are just a few tips that has helped me with the end of the school year, but anything in your preference works to keep you sane for only these last fews weeks of school.
